Try An Insomnia Mantra
Though associated with yoga or meditation, mantras can be used for falling asleep and curing your insomnia, as they are incredibly effective at quieting the mind and slowly shutting down certain regions of the brain. By focusing on the words of your mantra as you internally utter them, you don’t leave room for other thoughts. Some you can try are: I am calm and still… All is well and I’m at peace… I welcome sleep into my mind and body… Stillness of body breeds stillness of mind… or … Each breath relaxes me more.
