Think about how good it feels when you've gotten your hair styled or your nails done. Or how off you feel when you're wearing something you hate or you're in too much of a hurry to get any time in front of the mirror.

Needless to say, we feel better when we've taken care of ourselves. It sets the tone for our day and affects our overall mood. However, as moms, it's too easy to skip the beauty routine when life gets hectic. 

Instead of putting ourselves last, it's important to recognize taking care of ourselves matters. It's not selfish, it's not something to feel guilty about. On the contrary, it enhances our confidence and makes us feel ready to take on the world.
