1. Go in with an open mind
First and foremost, don't let other people's experiences scare you. While it might not always be easy, our bodies are made for this. Believe in yourself and your baby. Be prepared to give it time, but don't be surprised if it all just clicks from day one.

I remember being shocked after my first daughter was born and breastfeeding was relatively painless, (although I did have some initial supply issues). Plenty of women have an easy time breastfeeding, it just doesn't make much of a story to share with others.
