4. Invest in nursing pillows
The right nursing pillow will position baby for an easier latch, (and give your arms a needed break). Nonetheless, you may have to experiment with different brands. I found one leading pillow worked great with my first daughter, but didn't put my second daughter in the right spot for her tricky latch. Do some research and try a different pillow if you're having challenges.

Also, bring your nursing pillow to the hospital! It's so much easier to learn how to breastfeed with the tools you'll have at home, as opposed to a huge pile of floppy hospital pillows.
