Presenting: The Winners of the 2013 StyleBistro Awards

The votes have been tallied, the tears have dried, and our Champagne-soaked clothing is on its way to the dry cleaners. We are now officially ready to announce the winners (and editors' picks) of our second annual StyleBistro Awards.

More than 100,000 votes were cast through a combination of polls, games and brackets, making it fairly straightforward to determine the readers' choice winners. Selecting the nominees and our editors' picks on the other hand wasn't as simple and took weeks of deliberation and product testing to narrow the field. (Hey, not that we're complaining!) But we think you'll be pleased with the results. If not, feel free to let us know!

Congrats to all the winners and nominees!

Readers' Choice Best Dressed of the Year: Kerry Washington

After 90,400 votes in our Best Dressed Bracket, we're thrilled Kerry Washington won Best Dressed of 2013 honors. When it comes to fashion, the actress is the perfect blend of classy and daring. She isn't afraid to take risks and has yet to make a misstep. This was an especially big year for Kerry with the release of Django and the growing popularity of Scandal. She, and her style, deserve some serious recognition. (We should also note that Kerry's fan-base mobilized when she tweeted the bracket. Smart!)

Honorable Mentions...

We couldn't narrow it down to just one celeb for an Editors' Pick, so we selected three stylish celebs to receive Honorable Mentions. We chose this trio, less for their red carpet appearances, but more for their consistently inspiring street style. Miranda Kerr lead the pack with her ladylike dresses and laid-back yet high-fashion ensembles. Jessica Alba was our chameleon in everything from studded leather to harem pants, utility jackets to print jeans. And Olivia Palermo was the queen of mixing and matching and showed us all how to join comfort with creativity for every dog walk and/or coffee run.

Readers' Choice Best Maternity Style: Kate Middleton

Editors' Pick: Jenna Dewan-Tatum
Kate Middleton was the deserving recipient of your votes for Best Maternity Style since she epitomized daytime elegance with her tweed coats and classic prints, but our pick went to runner-up Jenna Dewan-Tatum. It was Jenna's on-trend and totally replicable outfit ideas that won us over. Heck, we'd wear those jean jackets and maxi-dresses sans bun in the oven. Oh, and we're game for a night out in a princess gown every once in a while, too. (Also, a shout out to Kim Kardashian for her ruthless commitment to runway-worthy fashion—our feet hurt just looking at those Louboutins!)

Readers' Choice Best New Fragrance: Beyonce Midnight Heat

Editors' Pick: Victoria’s Secret Seduction Dark Orchid

A favorite in the SB beauty closet, one spritz will transport you to a world of sensual glamour. Ultra-wearable with its blend of midnight orchid, crushed plum and Oud wood, the luscious scent is dreamy enough for a night out, but still sophisticated for the office. Meaning: it’s the perfect everyday parfum—and tops our list for Best Fragrance of the Year.

Readers' Choice and Editors' Pick Best Street Style: Miranda Kerr

If it wasn't Best-Dressed of the Year, it was bound to be this. There's a reason why Miranda's our reigning street style champ two years running! No matter what she's wearing, whether it's a basic tee and jeans or a sleek, tailored dress, Kerr consistently knocks it out of the park with her innate sense of style, impeccable layering know-how, and impressive arsenal of accessories. Bow down.

Readers' Choice and Editor's Pick Best Red Carpet Designer: Christian Dior

One look at Jennifer Lawrence’s fairytale-like gown at this year’s Oscars says it all: Raf Simons for Christian Dior is about as elegantly alluring as they come. The designer has churned out some of the most gorgeous wares for Hollywood’s brightest leading ladies this year, and easily takes the cake as Best Red Carpet Designer of the Year.

Readers' Choice Most Stylish TV Character: Emily Thorne / Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp), Revenge

Editors' Pick:
Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), Scandal

Not only is Kerry Washington our winner for Best Dressed of the Year, but her Scandal character, crisis management powerhouse, Olivia Pope, gets our vote for Most Stylish TV Character, too. Just take one look at her conservative, yet impossibly chic wardrobe—stocked with crisp blazers, dramatic gowns and perfectly tailored coats. Don’t you kind of just want everything? We secretly raid Olivia’s closet every time we cast ourselves on Scandal.

Readers' Choice Best Red Carpet Style: Rihanna

Editors' Pick: Jennifer Lawrence

If you look up red carpet diva in the dictionary, and don't find a pic of Jennifer Lawrence, please insert one. The beauty served up some of the fiercest looks this year—everything from her princess-like ball gown at the Oscars to her elegant stunner at the Met Ball (both by our pick for Best Red Carpet Designer of the Year, Christian Dior, by the way). So for us, it was a no brainier—J. Law has the Best Red Carpet Style of 2013.

Readers' Choice Best New Color Cosmetic Product: Maybelline Color Whisper by Color Sensational in "Orange Attitude"

Editors' Pick: RiRi Hearts MAC Lipstick in "RiRi Woo"

When this retro matte red lipstick first went up for grabs, we were fairly certain Rihanna was going to break the Internet. MAC sold out of its entire pre-sale stash in three hours, causing a Twitter freakout of massive proportions. We waited 45 minutes just to score a tube of our own, and yes, it was well worth it. You'd be hard pressed to find a Facebook photo from this summer where we aren't wearing this rich ruby. That obsessed.

Readers' Choice Prettiest Product Packaging: Avon Mega Effect Mascara

Editors' Pick: Lancome Show by Alber Elbaz Mascaras

While we ooh'ed and ahh'ed over all the submissions for this category, Lanvin Artistic Director Alber Elbaz's darling (hand-sketched!) drawings never failed to put a smile on our faces. Add in the fact that the Elbaz referred to this tongue-in-cheek collab as his "happy eyes project," and it's not hard to see why these designs won over our hearts. (And makeup bags.)

Readers' Choice Best New Nail Collection: Julep's Jazz Collection

Editors' Pick: Pierre Hardy for Nars

Shoes and nail polishes—pardon, Pierre Hardy heels and Nars lacquers—could there be a better pairing? We're sure it's probably pretty obvious by now that we're serious suckers for a well-executed collaboration. So, you can only imagine our delight when we discovered Nars's gorgeous, easy-to-apply nail colors came packaged in mini shoe boxes—with dust bags! Let's just say we instantly fell head over Pierre Hardy heels.

Readers' Choice Most Iconic Celebrity Hairstyle: Kate Middleton's Classic Chelsea Blowout

Editors' Pick: Miley Cyrus's Razored Chop

When the world referred to Beyonce's hair makeover as "pulling a Miley," we knew it was a done deal. Say what you will, but Miley Cyrus started the year's short hair revolution. Admittedly, we were a little of unsure of her dramatic move in the beginning—and we know she's planning to grow back her long locks—but as far as the best celeb hairstyle of 2013 goes, there really isn't a chop or dye job that comes close.

Readers' Choice and Editors' Pick Best New Hair Product: Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo

One of our favorite things ever? Drybar blowouts. What's even better than a Drybar blowout? A Drybar blowout that lasts for days. (Or at least a dry shampoo that makes your hair smell like you just left the salon.) We can safely say we've yet to find a formula that a) holds curl b) gets rid of all the gross-ickiness of day-old oils and c) leaves our locks feeling and smelling as delightfully fresh as this spray does. This is the product we're not ashamed to say we buy in bulk.

Readers' Choice Accessories Designer of the Year: Giuseppe Zanotti Design

Editors' Pick: Alexis Bittar

Having gone from peddling his wares on the streets of NYC to the glitzy aisles of Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, our hearts skip a beat every time we spy a Bittar bangle or bauble. Winner of the 2010 CFDA Accessories Designer of the Year award, his cool collection of colorfully embellished lucite, resin, and acrylic costume jewelry is perfect for jazzing up LBD's and date-night looks – but they're just as versatile for the office. It's a win-win.

Readers' Choice Best New Skincare Product: Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream

Editors' Pick: Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Facial Towelettes
If you're one of the many devotees who says yes (and yes and yes and yes) over and over again to Yes To's beloved facial towelettes, say hello to the newest addition to the line: Grapefruit radiance-boosting wipes. (Seriously, we stash them everywhere: gym bags, purses, desk drawers, nightstands, you name it.) Just like the rest of the family, these babies are paraben-free, contain no SLS, and are packed with Vitamin C and Lycopene to help naturally exfoliate and even skin tone. It's skincare made easy—one swipe and done!

Readers' Choice and Editors' Pick Best New Body Product: Morrocanoil Body Oil

The softness! The scent! Whether it's hair or body products, we truly can't get enough of Moroccanoil. And apparently, the same goes for you guys: Moroccanoil's Body Souffle was the Reader's Choice winner last year! For similar reasons, this year's champ takes the top spot—plus, dry oils were all the rage this year. Formulated with argan, olive, and avocado oil, this non-greasy, fast-absorbing spray was our savior all summer long, leaving our legs silky and smooth.
