Columbia, South Carolina
Columbia is one of those rare towns that is becoming artsy and hipster while still keeping it's old southern charm and elegance. To start off your girl weekend with a bang, stay at The Inn at USC, which is a beautiful building from the 1920s complete with a mahogany bar, tufted antique couches circling around a fireplace, and a wrap-around porch where you can drink your sweet tea.

Once you check in, you and your ladies can head over to the Vista neighborhood, which is the city's art district tucked away into a maze of warehouses. Once you finish poking into galleries, cafes, and shops, head over to Old Mill Antique Mall, which is a two-level historic building that is home to over 75 dealers with vintage clothes, antique furniture, and quirky, retro finds.

After you worked up an appetite, head over to Motor Supply Co. Bistro, which has a daily changing menu and offers up things like Buttermilk Fried Quail and Local Fig Salad.
