'The Mindy Project' Returns from its Mid-Season Break in Style

(Courtesy: FOX)Our favorite funny girl Mindy Kaling graced the small screen earlier this week when The Mindy Project returned from its mid-season break. Not only did she leave us in the midst of an unexpected love triangle, she also left us in a state of withdrawal from her fearless fashions. Luckily, she made her comeback with double the excitement: two brand-new episodes and therefore a number of stylish outfits to covet.

Dr. Lahiri picked up right where she left off: thousands of feet in the air, sporting a striped necklace T-shirt from J. Crew (which has since flown off the shelves but can be found on eBay) and a casual mixed-media Current/Elliott jacket (available for purchase here). Somewhere between landing and getting back home, she swapped jackets—and boyfriends—and threw on a moto-inspired leather topper, which you can find on sale here.

(Courtesy: FOX)Mindy loves the blouse pictured above so much, she owns it in two colors. The silk button-down boasting an equestrian print from C. Wonder is a staple for her preppy ensembles; while she wore the white version this week, she appeared in the black option earlier this year (alas, both are no longer available). Meanwhile, her contrasting snake-print pencil skirt is a Diane von Furstenberg creation.

(Courtesy: FOX)Trying her best to look undesirable (and proving unsuccessful), Mindy donned a dated nightgown with floral embroidery and glasses—by Warby Parker, no less.

(Courtesy: FOX)For a chic spring office look, Mindy styled her flattering floral frock by L.K. Bennett with a lengthy tassel necklace by Juicy Couture.

(Courtesy: FOX)Even when monochrome, Mindy is still stylish. Her black drop earrings are by Kendra Scott and can be purchased here.

(Courtesy: FOX)Mindy went green—both literally and figuratively—in this glam get-up. Her snake print dress, which is from Torn by Ronny Kobo (and sadly no longer available), is almost entirely made from bamboo. She matched her fitted frock with emerald accents: a statement gemstone necklace and dangling earrings.

(Courtesy: FOX)For her final ensemble (excluding her hospital gown), Mindy mixed and match like a champ in this red-and-blue outfit. Donning another C. Wonder silk print shirt, Mindy paired her navy-and-red button-down with a contrasting print skirt in a matching palette, also by C. Wonder. She enhanced her look with red accessories: her signature Chanel handbag and gemstone drop earrings. You might recognize her blue-and-black colorblock DKNY trench, which she has sported in past episodes.

Like most of her in-demand wardrobe pieces, all of the pieces in this look are sold out. However, if you fancy her bird-motif blouse, you can purchase it in black and white here.
