Sophie Tweed-Simmons' style is as eclectic as her professional endeavors. The Shannon and Sophie star—and daughter of rocker Gene Simmons—has her hand in acting, singing, writing and designing. Yesterday, she launched her third apparel collection for The Style Club, just in time for festival season not to mention the show's premiere. Since we're already well-versed in her beauty secrets, we checked back in with the busy starlet to get the scoop on her evolving style and the confidence cues she's gained from her life in the spotlight.

How does your latest collection for The Style Club communicate your personal aesthetic? "I think most girls adapt the boho style for festival season, and I am no exception. What I love most is that the pieces are flowy and baggy—just comfortable loungewear, that’s my style."

How has your style evolved since being on Gene Simmons Family Jewels? "It has changed so much. I was a kid when we were filming, so my tastes involved gel pens and scrunchies. Now, I own a pencil skirt and a pair of sling-backs—officially an adult."

How does your on-stage performance style compare to your everyday, off-stage attire? "On stage, it’s all about comfort. If I can’t move in it, I’m not wearing it. Off stage, I am more business than anything. I am a young attractive girl, and it’s hard for big CEOs to take me seriously, so I definitely dress the part."

Do you dress differently on days you're filming the series? "Of course it’s different. If you woke up every morning knowing that a million people would see you, I think you’d put in a little more effort. I don’t have a glam squad or stylist, but I try. Most days I wake up and really, really don’t feel like getting ready, so I slack off and then regret it when I see it on TV."

For your acting projects, do you have a character you've played you relate to the most? "A lot of the characters I have played so far are young students, so yes I relate. A lot of people don’t know this, but sometimes wardrobe actually comes from the actor’s closet."

Be careless, live happily and don’t be average. I’m weird, and it’s helped a lot."

As an advocate for healthy body image, what are some confidence tips you've learned from being in the industry? "Don’t Google yourself, and don’t care so much—especially [on] social media. Be careless, live happily and don’t be average. I’m weird, and it’s helped a lot."
