Anna Akhmatova And Marina Tsvetaeva
Both women were Russian poets who formed a bond before the 1917 Revolution, and had to live through Stalin's reign afterwards. Their poems were banned during that period, but they admired each other's work and would send each other poems in the mail and help each other with their projects.

Interestingly enough, the two women only met once, and it was shortly before Tsvetaeva committed suicide.
