This Site Turns Brand Instagram Photos Into a Virtual Mall
Eyeing something you saw on your feed? Now you can find out exactly where to buy it.
Perhaps this sounds familiar: you scroll on Instagram, see a photo of an outfit or wardrobe piece and fall in love only to get frustrated that there's no shopping info to be found. Shopstasy, a new site making brands' Instagram photos shoppable, is now here to save the day.
The platform compiles Instagram accounts of popular retailers such as Topshop, Barneys, Farfetch and Mango into a Pinterest-like landing page. When you click the photos, you see each featured item identified with shopping information and a link directing you where to purchase. We recently spotted a cute green romper on Bluefly's Instagram. When we checked out Shopstasy, there it was—no guesswork, extensive Googling or asking about it in the comments section necessary.
You can browse by what you're in the market for—shoes, bags, accessories, jewelry, beauty—or by store. Aside from making your hunt for a specific piece much easier, Shopstasy makes for a better shopping experience by allowing you to see items styled. That extra dose of visual creativity gives you a better idea of how a product will fit into your closet.
