23. Norwegian Fjords, Norway
Western Norway is a region consisting of narrow fjords that cut into towering mountain peaks, vast waterfalls, and icy glaciers. Fascinatingly enough, the landscape was created by a series of Ice Ages and hasn't changed much since. This means that a visit is essentially like traveling back in time –– and it's truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
