Jacqueline Carlyle, 'The Bold Type'
As the editor-in-chief of Scarlet in Freeform's The Bold Type, Jacqueline Carlyle (Melora Hardin) is the understanding, aspirational and all-around-cool boss everyone wishes they had. I will go ahead and interject here that the show borders on fantastical in its portrayal of the close ties Jacqueline has with the young writers at the magazine: There's just no way the uber-successful head editrix of a liberal women's magazine based out of NYC has the time to devote to an entry-level writer's every qualm and personal issue. But I digress, because Jacqueline is my (s)hero.
