1991: 'The Silence of the Lambs'
The Silence of the Lambs is a thriller about a young FBI cadet Clarice (Jodie Foster) assigned to interview incarcerated cannibal and killer Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) in the hopes of getting some insight on a current serial killer, nicknamed "Buffalo Bill." The creepy flick won all of the Big Five Academy Awards, becoming the third film in Oscar history to do so.
