1. Her Fearless Intimidation Factor
There's nothing more intimidating than a woman who knows exactly who she is and isn't afraid to express herself. Kat's electrifying intimidation factor is a hard fact to deny. Although the terminology around her character — or rather, what some of the people in her life have to say about her character — is problematic, we certainly never had any problem with her.

Kat is often referred to as a "bitch" or "heartless," even a "shrew" (although this was in homage to Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew). Women who speak their minds have always been considered intimidating, and to some that provokes nasty name-calling. It's here that the 1999 release date of the film really shows.
