Calling All DIY-Lovers, There’s A New Show Just For You
You'll be just as excited as we are about NBC's "Making It."
Need to add a little fun to those end of summer blues? NBC has you covered with its new series, Making It, where eight contestants are challenged to complete handmade crafting projects in order to win badges, patches, and ultimately, the grand prize. With $100,000 on the line, the competition is real but also friendly.
Unlike other shows where the drama is the draw, contestants are encouraged to help each other, keeping the tone light-hearted. And, with Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman as hosts, there's also plenty of laughter to be had, as they poke fun at everything, including crafting and other competition shows, (anyone who follows Nick Offerman knows how much he loves making stuff).
This series literally has something for everyone. Not only will Poehler and Offerman's strong fan bases be pleased, but anyone who loves Etsy and/or DIY will enjoy watching these amazing projects come to life. Which is exactly the message of the show — get off your phone and create.
The series premieres on July 31st at 10pm ET on NBC.
