18. Go outside.
It’s easy to get caught up in the to-do lists and not make it outside before dark (especially during the winter). But, kids need to be outside as much as possible. Getting outside and running around is what will buy you that nap and early bedtime. During these dark, cold winter months, it’s too easy to skip going out, but kids need fresh air, natural light, and space to burn energy without walls.
