Low blood sugar levels make everyone grumpy. When moods shift and you’re not sure why, food is often a good place to start. If you’re at the grocery store, don’t hesitate to break into something in the cart, (string cheese, perhaps?). No one at the checkstand cares as long as you pay for it and everyone else will appreciate the quiet that comes with a calm toddler.
