4. Stay At a Hostel: Reason Two
The second reason is that hostels allow you to meet people easily, and they can inspire you to do things with them that weren't originally on your itinerary. For example, when I got to Lake Bled in Slovenia, I was waiting to check in at reception when a guy came up to me and asked if I wanted to go on a road trip with him to the famous lakes and rivers in the area. I didn't have a car, so this wasn't even on my to-do list since it would have been a pain to get to with a bus. I told him to give me a minute to ditch my suitcase and away we went!

You also hear what everyone has been up to while you sit down at a kitchen table for breakfast or dinner, or you naturally fall into conversations in common rooms. That way you find out all the interesting activities they did while they were out for the day, inspiring you to try the same tomorrow.
