StyleBistro Interview: WWDMAGIC Blogger Ashley Gustafson of Fashionably Ashley Ashley Gustafson
1. What's your name, age and blog?

Ashley Gustafson, 24, www.fashionablyashley.com

2. Define your personal style.

Urban Chic/Trendy. I'm a mix of a beachy LA rocker chick and an urban SF
hippie. My mood dictates my style so there could be days where I am
classy in black heels and days where I am more laid back in leggings and big
shirts. I make sure either way to still look awesome!

3. What will you be wearing this spring?

Ruffled skirts, coolots, stripes, and pinks. Lots and lots of sandals as
well (if I can get away with them. lol).

4. Blogging is [ADDICTING but a MUST HAVE].

Market Yourself.

5. What are your online must-reads?

Mashable.com, dealnews.com, and people.com (Need the news on... the tech
industry, the latest styles for cheaper prices, and what the celebrities are wearing!).

6. Biggest shopping splurge ever

I'm a deal girl so I'd say most of my splurges might not be as big of
splurges as some ladies. Hehe. Although, when I first moved to San Francisco
I began this boot shopping phase. Needed to own every style and color boot
available. Bought black Kate Spade rainboots, black knee-high Aerosoles,
brown urban style Guess thigh highs, and cute camel colored booties all in
one day. They robbed my bank account but sure came in handy up here in SF.
:)

7. Have you ever posted photos of yourself in a look you regretted later? What
was it?

A lot of my friends were getting into jumpsuits a few months ago. My friends
looked so cute in them so I decide to buy one myself. Unfortunately it did
nothing for my hips. I have wide hips and they just accented them more. Just
proves that some styles just aren't right for certain people.

8. One print magazine you can't live without?

I am an all online girl now but one magazine I can't live without is Harpers Bazaar. I love their fashion spreads!
They're always unique and do tell quite a story sometimes.

9. What's your dream job?

Web Producer for Polyvore or Love Culture.

I love working with user experience tools. Designing the front end of a web site or
being able to work one on one with customers through social media has always
been a passion of mine. Having the company be involved in fashionmakes it 10
times better.

10. What excites you most about the Magic trade show?

Seeing the latest looks from well-known fashion companies and being able to
network with bloggers who are interested and excited about the same things I am.
