If you're anything like us, you're always looking for travel inspo – and you've definitely come to the right place (and person). After we chatted with Nicola Easterby, freelance photographer and expert travel blogger, about how to take better photos while traveling, we just couldn't help ourselves.
I had to ask the stylish globe-trotter to share more about her adventures. And trust me, after you see her photos, you'll want to add these destinations to your travel bucket list too.
What are the top 3 most photogenic locations you’ve traveled to?
Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland most definitely takes the cake with its cascading waterfalls, wooden chalets and snow-capped mountains!
Santorini is another one of my favorites, particularly during sunset over the Caldera.
My third would have to be Cappadocia in Turkey, with its hundreds of hot air balloons rising every morning over a surreal, moon-like landscape.
What's the craziest or most memorable travel experience you’ve had?
Living in a small village in the Nepalese mountains for a week was pretty unforgettable. We slept in a room with spiders and rats crawling over us, bathed in the river, had dance parties with the local kids and got stuck in the village during a massive storm. I loved getting to know the local community and get a real understanding of the Nepalese culture.
What’s next on your travel itinerary?
I head to Bali in January and Fiji in February! I’m getting rather excited for a month of exploring two places I’ve never been (or should I say, lazing by the pool and happy hour).
What do you think our readers’ next must-see travel destination should be?
Turkey! I can’t stop recommending this country to people. It’s more diverse than anywhere I’ve ever been before and so rich in culture and history. Plus the food is oh-so-delicious.
