Kate Middleton and Pippa Middleton as Adorable Child Bridesmaids, Circa 1993

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa Middleton weren't always the swishy royal-marrying, banker-dating socialites they are today—no, once upon a time, they were just normal little girls. Check out this adorable photo of Kate and Pippa as child bridesmaids at their uncle Gary Goldsmith's wedding in 1993, when Kate, now all grown up and married to Prince William, was just 11-years-old:

How did this photo even surface? Well, turns out the girls' uncle, Goldsmith, has given an unauthorized interview to Britain's Hello! magazine about Kate and Wills' vacation at his Ibiza home—which is, um, tastefully named "La Maison de Bang Bang." According to the 16-page spread:
Over 16 pages, he tells how the young couple enjoyed mud baths on the island, William’s stint DJing for the family and how Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, told him not to worry about the bad publicity he had attracted for the family before the royal wedding.

In an embarrassing breach of protocol, the interview also reveals how Kate and William  shared a room seven years ago during a break at the villa, dubiously named La Maison de Bang Bang.

The tattooed tycoon, Carole Middleton’s brother, is understood to have been paid for the interview, although neither the magazine nor his agent would discuss whether or how much Goldsmith was paid.

Goldsmith himself works in IT recruitment, is a self-made millionaire, and is the brother of Carole Middleton, Kate and Pippa's mom. In 2009 he was caught by the News of the World giving drugs and organizing Brazilian prostitutes for an undercover reporter at "La Maison de Bang Bang," where Kate and William later vacationed.
