6. Chardonnay
Chardonnay is a rich and complex white wine with both citrus fruit and creamy vanilla flavors. 

Pair Chardonnay with white fishes (like halibut, cod, or tilapia) in lemon butter sauces. Chardonnay also goes great with chicken and turkey, veal, and pork. With this wine you can go for risotto with creamy sauces, corn, nuts, and squash. Shellfish like shrimp or crab are also favorites.
