17. Be ready for bath time
There's no shortage of baby baths available. While your sink is a possible option, consider whether it's really a place you'll want to regularly (and comfortably) wash your baby. If the answer is no, buy a baby bath that can either be used in your sink or tub.

In addition to a bath, you'll want to make sure you have wash cloths, towels, and a gentle baby wash. Combs and soft brushes should also be kept nearby. Moreover, bath thermometers are useful as babies require slightly cooler temperatures than many adults prefer. As for bath toys, you can go ahead and wait until baby is bigger before deciding what to buy.
