What to Wear: Thanksgiving Second-Helpings

(Photos: Calypso St. Barth, Nordstrom)

In case you couldn't tell by the fact that we started planning our Thanksgiving Dinner outfit last week, we're pretty pumped about the upcoming holiday. In our minds, it's a bit like the Oscars of eating—only without the pesky papparazzi and industry politicking—and so demands its share of outfit changes.

Today's ensemble is geared toward that part of the meal when you've successfully cleaned your plate for the first time, and are mulling seconds of something gravy-covered and cranberry garnished. The key here is to pause and assess how best to expand the roominess of your ensemble while balancing style. We like a two-pronged solution: blousy top, plus drawstring pants.

Shop our no-fail picks below; a shirt by Calypso with a romantic, strolling-on-the-beach aesthetic (and the crucial perk of serious midriff coverage), and silk drawstring pants in a festive harvest color palette with that much-loved pyjama silhouette.
