1. Show Up On Time
Your mom has been basting that butterball turkey since eight in the morning, the marshmallows on the sweet potato are perfectly roasted, the red wine is breathing, and...everyone is sitting at the table, watching it all cool to hell as you're stuck in traffic across town.

Don't be that person. Don't give your aunt a reason to passive aggressively tell you that one-liner she's been sitting on since last year. Figure out your travel times and show up on the dot. While it might be boring sitting on the couch waiting for the last of the casseroles to bake, it's a better bet than barreling in an hour late.
