2. Embrace your friendships
Even though I had years to dote on my friends before I had babies, I definitely miss the time we had together. Parenthood means you'll spend most of your "friend time" with other parents, which is great if your besties live nearby and have kids at the same time, but it's more likely you'll be spread out or have kids at different ages. 

Accordingly, make an effort to really enjoy your friendships now. Stay up all night laughing. Call each other on the phone. Travel to see each other if you live in different cities. The stronger your connections before babies the more likely you'll stay connected afterwards.
