Halloween is a time of fun costumes, creative pumpkin decorations, and lots of other spooky tricks (and treats). But for the parents of kids with food allergies, the holiday can be a very stressful time.

These parents walk a tightrope of wanting their kids to enjoy the fun of trick or treating while also wanting to protect them from eating a life-threatening allergen. That's why we've rounded up these Halloween treats that are free from the Top 8 most common allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, soy, wheat, fish, and shellfish).

And if you're just looking for a way to make sure Halloween is safe for all the kids in your neighborhood, here's a list of the candy to stock up on this year.
