13. Tabata
You may have heard of Tabata and be a little confused on how it varies from HIIT. Tabata is a type of HIIT, with a very specific active/recovery time intervals. Tabata is comprised of 20 seconds of max intensity, followed by 10 seconds of recovery, performed eight times in a row for a total of four minutes. As many circuits can be added on as you'd like, though it's suggested that you don't exceed 30 minutes.
