What Is Intermittent Fasting?
Intermittent fasting (IF) is unlike a traditional diet. In fact, those who follow it prefer to not refer to it as a diet at all. Rather, IF is a eating pattern that cycles between periods of eating and periods of fasting. There are many different types of IF (more on that later), and it can even be customizable to suit your schedule and needs. People do IF for a variety of reasons, which we will also elaborate on in just a little bit.
