Baia do Sancho is located on the Brazilian island of Fernando de Noronha, about an hour flight from the mainland. The journey to the beach doesn't stop there though because getting to it is quite the endeavor. After walking out toward the water on a wooden pathway, you then go single file down a completely vertical ladder to a platform, where then you must squeeze through a narrow tunnel, go down another ladder, and then some steps. Phew! It's been voted the best beach in the world though, so it has to be worth it.
