Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been famous since practically the moment they were born. These girls literally grew up right before our eyes on TV — that's no small thing! Well before they even reached their teenage years the twins had already built an empire, and though the empire has evolved, it's certainly still going strong today. 

Since their last movie, New York Minute, in 2004, other than the occasional small role here or there, neither girl has adamantly pursued acting. Instead, they have pretty much receded from the limelight altogether, with the Met Gala and CFDA Fashion Awards (where they seem to always win) being some of their only appearances of the year.
