That would be the entire spring collection from 424 Fifth, Lord & Taylor’s new in-house line of beyond-chic separates ($29-$300). The label, launched earlier this year, is offering up heaps of jaunty midi-skirts ($124 $99.20), slouchy pants aplenty ($98 $78.40-$324-$259.20) and other must-have pieces that reek of Left Bank cool. Can’t you just see us strolling down the Seine in this adorbs fit-and-flare dress ($124 $99.20)?
Brand Spotlight: 424 Fifth(Source: Lord & Taylor. Stretch Cotton Shirt, $74 $59.20; Birdcage Skirt, $164 $131.20. Palm Print Jacket, $248 $198.40. Chambray Shirt, $74 $59.20; Laser Cut Skirt, $110 $88)
With a keen attention to fabric and shape, 424 Fifth’s elevated styles call to mind designs from Paris’s most celebrated (read: astronomically expensive) ateliers. And yet –praise be to the sartorial gods –the label’s prices are ridiculously, gloriously reasonable. Now, thanks to healthy markdowns on much of the spring collection, they are kind of hard to resist. So excuse us while we go scoop up this perfectly insouciant double-breasted vest ($124) and daydream about the City of Lights.
