Brand Spotlight: Twenty Tees

Brand Spotlight: Twenty Tees(Courtesy: FameFlynet Pictures; Bauer Griffin)If you're looking for an easy way to update your wardrobe, here's a celebrity-favorite line to add to your radar: Twenty Tees, which creates luxury knits at affordable prices. The brand has already earned a place in the closets of (left to right) Emmy Rossum, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Alessandra Ambrossio, among other famous clothing connoisseurs.

"The pieces can flow effortlessly from day to night," says creative director David Helwani, who describes the Twenty Tees girl as one is "unafraid to take chances, adventurous, and loves to set trends."

While the brand's versatile pieces embody the California-cool lifestyle, Helwani credits European style stars such as (above, from left to right) Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt, CR Fashion Book founder Carine Roitfeld and Caroline Issa, the fashion director of U.K. quarterly Tank Magazine, as major sources of inspiration.
Brand Spotlight: Twenty Tees(Courtesy Twenty Tees: Cashmere Jersey Long Sleeve Surplice Wrap Top, $128; Viscose Stretch Open Back Dress, $168; Tweed Terry Motor Jacket, $168, and Pants, $158)Above is just a sampling of some of our favorite items from the label's current collection (including the same slacks Rihanna was recently seen in). Pieces range from $60 to $168 and can be purchased online as well as at select retailers, including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Intermix, Calypso, and Scoop NYC. Helwani also has a higher-priced ready-to-wear line, LaPina by David Helwani, which you can explore here

"I think we get an overlap [between the two lines]," says Helwani. "They are both young, hip, trend-driven but hold true to classic beauty." That's what we call a sweet spot.
