Celebrities Who Married The Same Person Twice

1979–1982 and 2001-2005: Comedian Richard Pryor married two of his wives two times. He was first married to interior designer Jennifer Lee from 1979 to 1982, and they first met when he hired her to decorate his home. Lee told People, “I was vaguely aware of him as an artist and that he had a reputation of being very hard-edged,” she said in an interview. “But when I met this man, he was completely the opposite. He was vulnerable and sweet. There’s a Polaroid that a friend of his took of us [when we met] and you can see in that picture how smitten I am with him. I think I fell in love.”

They split after three years of marriage because of his drug addiction, but they would rekindle their love 19 years later. Pryor called Lee after he was diagnosed with MS, and they stayed together until his death in 2005.
