Trending Now: White Gowns at the Golden Globes
See how the bridal hue is sweeping the red carpet.
The fashions at the Golden Globes are just getting started, and we've already noticed a major trend: ivory gowns. While a slew of television hosts were first to the scene in the bridal hue, actresses are also following suit. From edgy cutouts to glam embellishments, see the stars that are sporting winter white this year.
E! host Giuliana Rancic kickstarted the trend in a futuristic frock boasting an asymmetric illusion neckline for her first look of the evening. She balanced the look with a matching Old Hollywood–style fur cover-up.
Fellow host Louise Roe also took to the trend, though she opted for a more romantic draped look courtesy of Jenny Packham. Her silky halter silhouette offered a deep V-neck and an embellished belt, and she topped her delicate ensemble off with a braided crown.
Yet another TV host showed up in the same shade: Lilliana Vazquez showed up in an edgy cutout number with sheer paneling.
Entourage's beloved Emmanuelle Chriqui (aka Sloan) also opted for ivory—though hers was uber glam, thanks to its glittering sequin embellishments. However, it should be noted that her red carpet appearance is also for the series' upcoming film sequel by the same name.
Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus went for a one-shoulder option boasting a touch of glamour with the subtle bodice beading.
