Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil
I was first introduced to Biossance several years ago (just before Sephora stocked the brand). After being given the chance to go on a behind-the-scenes tour of the company — and labs where the game-changing products are created — I absolutely fell in love with the science-backed, ethically-sourced skincare line.
Instead of killing sharks to produce squalane, like the majority of beauty brands have been doing for years (many still do), Biossance essentially produces their own from sugarcane. This means that it's purely plant-based — and their formulas consist of just a few ingredients, instead of a long laundry list of chemicals.
