Current Obsession: Charlotte Tilbury's Filmstars On The Go
Meet the pocket palette that offers a little pick-me-up glamour wherever you are.
When British beauty maven Charlotte Tilbury launched her debut collection stateside in September, I made sure to stock up like the world was ending. Lucky for me, Tilbury released another hoard-worthy product in December to add to my stash.
The Filmstars On The Go palette ($55) is a totable, sleek gold palette that serves as an eye-cheek-and-lip do-it-all. Available in five color combinations, there's a palette for whatever look you're creating. And to make them even more covetable, Tilbury pulled inspiration for each palette from her favorite past and modern beauty icons, naming them after famous films such as Rebel Without a Cause and Some Like It Hot.
Currently, I'm swooning over the Breakfast At Tiffany's palette. Besides having a dreamy name worthy of any Audrey Hepburn wannabe, this bronze shimmer and apricot combo is beyond practical for everyday wear.
The bronze shadow is ideal for adding depth and dimension to a neutral eye, as well as giving a subtle hint of glow when applied to the cheeks. The apricot cream has a great color payoff and is buildable on the lips or cheeks. Plus, the gold case plays into my secret desire to seem fancy. Bottom line, I may not be Audrey Hepburn—in any way—but I can at least feel like I'm giving Holly Golightly a run for her money thanks to my latest obsession.
