Editor's Pick: An Under-$100 Jewelry Collection That Looks Luxe
Handbag designer Danielle Nicole knocks it out of the park with her first foray into baubles.
When you are a fashion editor, you look at a lot—and I mean a lot—of jewelry. There are worse things in life, I know, but the consequence is it all sort of starts to blend together and become rather banal. But when you come across something unique or with a distinctive point of view, it's hard not to get excited—and that's exactly what happened when I encountered Danielle Nicole's jewelry collaboration with Capwell + Co.
The handbag designer is known for her luxe-looking satchels that are shockingly affordable (most everything clocks in at under a Benjamin), and the same applies to her first foray into jewelry. From pre-stacked rings ($42) to multi-tiered necklaces ($54) that do the layering for you, many of the pieces look more complicated than they are to wear. And they seem more expensive, too, thanks to the consistent use of lapis, amazonite, white howlite and rose quartz throughout the under-$100 collection.
Some of my favorite pieces are the Gold Radical Allure Ear Jackets ($36) that can be transformed into simple studs when paired with your own earring backings and the Gold, Amazonite and Rose Quartz Mixed Emotions Ring Stack ($42), which is the prettiest mix of shapes and colors to grace any finger.
