Editor's Pick: The Dry Shampoo Specifically For Hair Color

The dry shampoo stash I have is unreal. Whether it's the four cans I keep in my apartment, or the five cans I have stashed at the office, dry shampoo is one of my favorite beauty products. Perhaps it's partly my obsession with haircare, or perhaps it's partly my dislike of washing hair, but to say I hoard dry shampoo is an understatement. So when Moroccanoil announced they were getting into the dry shampoo game, I knew I had to get my hands on the goods—fast.

Formulated with the brand's signature fragrance, this spray absorbs oil and product buildup as any dry shampoo should. However, with a unique rice powder-based formula, Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo ($26) works to revive volume, deodorize, protect against UV damage and, drumroll please, enhance your hair color.

The dry shampoo comes in two color-specific formulas: one to preserve light or blonde hair and one to maintain the depth and dimension of darker strands. To be more specific, Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo Light Tones contains very subtle violet undertones to balance out brassiness that can torment blondes. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo Dark Tones works to enhance shine that can diminish from the residue leftover from dry shampoos.

Prolong the life of my blowout and my color thanks to one product? Count me in.
