Editor's Pick: Meet the Drugstore Spot Corrector for the Makeup Minimalist
This roller ball cream will replace several products in your makeup bag.
With spring—hopefully—on the way, I'm looking to spring clean my life in more ways than one. In my attempt at living a minimalist lifestyle, I've forced myself to purge my closet and swear off online shopping for the time being. My next area to tackle is the dreaded beauty bag, which as a beauty editor, is particularly challenging. Yet as a makeup minimalist, I find myself really only using a handful of products each day. As I learn to embrace my beauty minimalism, I've cut my cosmetics bag down to four products, several of which have dual purposes.
It's for that reason I'm coveting Flower Beauty's Daily Brightening Undereye Cover Crème ($9). When I first got my hands on the rollerball, I used it to coverup dark circles after a sleepless night. But as I saw the amazingly light and effective coverage from the unique glide-on formula, I found myself applying it on red areas, blemishes, pores and more.
Although it feels light, the cream actually has great coverage, dries quickly and contains light-reflective mineral particles that bring tired skin back to life. So not only am I reaching for this drugstore savior for dark circles but for quick spot treatments, too. I've actually found myself applying nothing but mascara and a few swipes of this product—talk about minimalism to the max. Now if only my closet would be as easy to downsize.
