Zoe Saldana is more than just a pretty face and a well-dressed star. The Avatar actress is something of a fashion maverick: She once launched a clothing line with her sisters and even operates a fashion database website, myfdb.com, with her fiance, Keith Britton. Just by looking at her, it's clear that Zoe loves to take the time to put an outfit together and she always seems to achieve the right look. She says:

Five years ago my sisters and I created our own brand, called Arasmaci, but we actually produced no more than a few T-shirts and some accessories because I became overwhelmed by Avatar. For many people, including a lot of actresses, fashion is all about brand names, logos, status symbols, but for me, it's an art form.

Zoe also says that part of her job is to look good—though she would never wear anything that makes her look "cheap." She told Britain's Hello! magazine:

My body is my office, you might say. Half the job of someone in showbusiness is creating an attractive image. And for me, that doesn't mean becoming a cheap sex symbol.

Zoe finds it a "privilege" to be a role model for women. She explains: "I guess I'm a role model now, and that is a privilege. I think women were fighting because we wanted to be feminine. Then we had to be masculine. Now we just want to be us."
