Francophiles rejoice! The Kooples, a popular preppy-with-a-twist contemporary brand that has stores all over France-land, is about to launch in the United States. A report in this morning's WWD says the company will open in Bloomingdale's stores in New York and New Jersey this September.
Check out some of our picks from The Kooples' fall 2012 collection—what do you think?
Things we like about The Kooples: the collection feels very international—at its core, it embodies that French-y casualwear APC-from-the-90s heritage, but, at the same time, feels easy and youthful, preppy-but-not-too-preppy, and adaptable and wearable anywhere in the world.
What do you think? Tell us in the comments. Are you excited about The Kooples launching Stateside? We're excited for more international brands to enter the contemporary category and can't wait to shop the fall collection at Bloomingdale's.
