Lady Gaga made some kind of statement when she wore a dress made of meat to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. She also made an impression on the higher ups at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, because they've acquired her steak frock to put on display. The dress is up now and will be available for viewing until February 2012.
If you're wondering whether it's safe to be within a 50-meter radius of the meaty marvel, never fear, it's been cured to prevent rotting. A taxidermy expert in California stored it in a meat locker before expertly preserving it with a chemical bath. This changed the texture and color of the original outfit, but it has been touched up with paint to closely resemble what it looked like last year.
