Kelly Cutrone is starting a fashion line. Now, Kelly is a power house within the fashion industry, but she's not exactly the first person you think of when style is concerned. Efficiency and the ability to make fashion miracles happen? Kelly's your gal. The hottest trends? Not so much.
Regardless, Kelly is teaming up with People's Revolution partner Robyn Berkley and Chris Burch—a venture capitalist formerly married to Tory Burch—to launch The Electric Love Army. The sportswear line is going to be "affordable and fun," have freestanding stores and plans on referencing pop culture to appeal to woman 15 to 32. Kelly describes her target client as:
You know that scene in ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ where Phoebe Cates climbs out of the swimming pool and pops her bikini? That’s our girl.
What do you think, are you looking forward to Kelly Cutrone's fashion line?
