On Thursday, avant garde pop princess Lady Gaga unveiled her much-anticipated collaboration with Polaroid at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among the products revealed were a pair of sunglasses with a camera built into the bridge of the nose—a nifty contraption that is sure to become a trendy party hit.

Gaga looked positively regal in a floor-length gown by New York-based designer Sally LaPointe. The black jersey dress, which features geometrical hip pads, was worn under a wide corset belt and paired with a wig, a veil and of course, dark shades.

RISD grad LaPointe, 26, held her debut runway show during New York Fashion Week in September.
