Daring Women Who Are Shaking Up The World

This year Janelle Monáe confirmed that she identifies as a queer women, and dropped an album right after called 'Dirty Computer' that celebrated not only her identity, but the whole LGBTQ community as a whole.

"I want young girls, young boys, nonbinary, gay, straight, queer people who are having a hard time dealing with their sexuality, dealing with feeling ostracized or bullied for just being their unique selves, to know that I see you," she explained to Rolling Stone. "This album is for you. Be proud."
