Rihanna Made Beauty More Inclusive
When Rihanna released Fenty Beauty in September of 2017, she completely revolutionized the beauty industry by refusing to exclude people from her products. For the first time ever, a major beauty brand released 40 different foundation shades, meaning that a wide variety of people were able to use her products — from the deepest, darkest complexions right down to a shade especially created for Albino skin tones.

This has led Time to include Fenty on their "Best Inventions of 2017," and has led to a massive increase of other beauty companies following her lead, making the beauty industry so much more inclusive.
