'Little Miss Flint' Mari Copeny
Mari Copeny is the 10 year old activist who has been fighting to raise and keep public awareness on the Flint water crisis, which hasn't been resolved since 2015. The crisis happened when Michigan's state government switched Flint’s water supply from a maintained Detroit source to a local river, which led to the city only having access to contaminated water.

At just eight years old, she convinced President Obama to visit Flint in an effort to help raise awareness, and has led fundraising efforts to raise money for bottled water.
