Betsy Brandt Channels Her 'Masters of Sex' Character on the Red Carpet

No stranger to the small screen, Betsy Brandt doesn’t leave her characters behind when the cameras stop rolling. In fact, the accomplished actress, recognized for her roles in Breaking Bad and The Michael J. Fox Show, brings them with her on the red carpet. Earlier this month, during a fitting for a new pilot with Masters of Sex costume designer Ane Crabtree, Brandt gushed about her custom-made Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet floral frock, which she planned especially for the occasion:

I really love this dress. I have to tell you, working on this show [Masters of Sex] makes me want to dress like this all the time—once you start wearing these clothes, they’re so flattering and feminine. [The dress] really does have this ‘50s–‘60s vibe, and the material is gorgeous. I actually tried it on last year. It’s a really amazing print, and I just felt like it was maybe a little too summery. Now, I feel like [the Emmy’s] are so early this year, it’s just kind of perfect."—Betsy Brandt
