Have you ever fallen in love with a piece, been scared away by its pricetag and then yearned over it for days and weeks and months on end? Erin Lucas feels your pain.
When we chatted with the budding musician—who is currently in studio recording her debut EP with The Kaleidoscopes—Erin lamented the one that got away—a sterling silver and turqoise Native American squash blossom necklace. She sighs:
There was one vintage necklace at a store in Venice Beach that I absolutely fell in love with, but I couldn't justify paying $500 for it. I still think about it, but it's gone now. It wasn't meant to be.
But you know what? We don't take loss lying down. Your editors truly urged our new friend Erin to give it another go. Sure enough, she headed back to the store and scooped up her long lost love! Erin emailed us a picture, saying:
You were right, they still had the necklace!! I bought it today!!! So happy. Payed in cash and got a great deal. Money talks baby. So it was meant to be after all :)
And Erin and her necklace lived happily ever after. Aw, we love happy fashionable endings!
